Something has shifted.
Maybe you can name it — a relationship ending, a career that stopped fitting, a quiet unravelling nobody else quite saw. Maybe you can’t name it yet. You just know that the version of yourself that used to make sense doesn’t anymore, and you haven’t found the next one.
You’ve probably tried things. Therapy, books, courses, frameworks. You understand yourself. And yet nothing has quite landed where it needs to.
But here’s what you’ve also noticed: you feel more like yourself near plants. Something settles when you’re in the garden, on a walk, near anything green and growing. You can’t explain it. You just know it’s true.
The Wild Rose Gathering is for that.
What we’ll do together
We’ll spend 90 minutes with the Wild Rose — one of our oldest hedgerow plants, blooming right now in the lanes and field edges of early summer.
Not as a botanical exercise. Not as a wellness trend. As a living ally who has something to say about beauty, about thorns, about belonging to yourself even in the middle of something hard.
The morning moves through:
A short grounding to arrive — something sensory and simple to land in your body before anything else.
The heart of it — plant folklore, the older stories, what the wild rose has always known about women in transition and what she might be saying to you right now.
A simple practice — something you can take away and continue. You’ll leave with something real, not just something thought about.
Open conversation — unhurried space to share what’s stirring, ask what’s on your mind, be with other women in the same in-between.
A closing — simple, intentional, unhurried.
This gathering is for you if:
You’ve done the therapy and read the books and you’re still stuck.
You feel something near plants and in the natural world that you can’t name and don’t know how to follow.
You’re tired of consuming information and want something that actually lands in your body.
You want to be in the company of other women who get it — without having to perform or explain yourself.
You’re ready to try one small true thing.
This gathering is not for you if:
You’re looking for a quick fix or a step-by-step plan.
You want clinical information about herbal medicine or plant identification.
You’re not ready to slow down yet.
This isn’t a women’s circle in the traditional sense — there’s no pressure to share or be witnessed before you’re ready. It isn’t a herbalism workshop or a foraging class. It isn’t therapy, and it isn’t another framework to add to the pile.
It’s a gathering. A morning with a plant and a small group of women who are all, in their own way, finding their way back to themselves.
About Sarah
I’m Sarah, and I’ve spent the last several years walking my own way through the in-between — the place where who you were stops fitting and who you’re becoming isn’t clear yet.
The green world is what helped me find my thread back. Not as a cure or a fix. As a companion. The wild rose, the elder, the plants growing in the lane outside my door in Sedbergh — they offered something the books and frameworks hadn’t quite reached.
I created the Wild Rose Spiral as a map of that crossing. And I created this gathering because I think there are women who need what I needed — not more information, but one morning to slow down, be near something real, and remember what they already know.
