Rooted in Ritual
The Wild Rose Apothecary is guided by a ritual-led approach to herbalism, where every step is intentional and attuned to the rhythms of the natural world.
Each creation begins with listening to the plants — honouring their spirit, understanding their needs, and nurturing a reciprocal relationship. Wherever possible, the plants are grown in my own herb garden in Sedbergh, at the foot of the Howgill Fells, on land my ancestors walked and tended. Connection to this place is at the heart of my practice.
Harvesting and drying is done in alignment with astrological and seasonal rhythms, and crafting medicines follows the moon cycles, allowing each blend, oil, or incense to hold the energy of intention, timing, and care.
All of these steps together — plant spirit communication, ritual, place, and timing — help the Wild Rose creations serve as supportive companions and gentle medicine for those who welcome them into their lives.

A ritual herbal tea for heart-opening, grounding, and embodied personal power.
Rose softens and opens, Hawthorn strengthens and protects, while Linden and Violet soothe and restore. Yarrow and Rosemary bring clarity, boundaries, and quiet courage.

Wild Rose Heart Salve
A heart-centred herbal salve infused with rose, calendula, and lavender. Crafted with plant oils, beeswax, and shea butter, it glides on easily and leaves the skin feeling soft, supported, and cared for.
Wild Rose Devotion Rollerball
A sacred, heart-opening blend of rose geranium, subtle rose Maroc, and frankincense in a base of jojoba and infused sunflower oil. Designed as a daily ritual to nurture the heart, awaken devotion, and bring a layered, floral elegance into your moments of stillness.
Calm & Restore Rollerball
A gentle, soothing blend to ease tension and restore balance. Lavender and bergamot essential oils mingle with infused sunflower and jojoba oils, creating a calming ritual for body and mind. Roll onto pulse points to invite serenity, clarity, and grounded calm wherever you are.
