Cleaning Chrome with Aluminum Foil

My husband shared a cleaning tip with me, which he found online – how to clean chrome with aluminum foil. He used it to make his Harley all nice and shiny again.

After the shock of seeing my husband enthused over a cleaning task, I decided to share it here – its not amazingly eco-friendly or anything, but it is thrifty – a cheap roll of foil costs a lot less than a bottle of that bloody chrome cleaner!!

So if you have any rusty old chrome fittings – give it a go!
